Position Information:

Full-time, 1.0 FTE
12 month position
Hourly wage range $18.03 – $21.06

Job Duties:Implements district accounts payable activities.  Reviews and verifies the completeness, accuracy and review of budget balances, account codes, and determines whether to accept or deny reimbursement claims as submitted.  Provides leadership and training to building level personnel regarding purchasing and accounts payable procedures, policies and building expectations.  Proposes and makes recommendations for changes in workflow or procedural changes.  40%
Reviews, enters, updates and maintains the collection, processing and reporting of the District’s fixed assets. 15%
Compiles and prepares invoices for payment and runs account payable checks.  Prepares a summary of accounts payable for submission to the Board for approval.  Uploads files to bank(s).  25%Answers questions and deals with vendor complaints or issues regarding invoices, payment, overdue notices or other concerns and questions.  5%
Maintains and prepares 1099’s in compliance with IRS requirements.  Reports new vendors to the State of MN.  5%
Assists with annual audit questions, schedules or questions pertaining to the processing of accounts payable and/or fixed asset accounting. 10%
Performs other duties of a comparable level or type, as required.
