The Assistant Principal assists the Principal in the supervision and coordination of student discipline and welfare. This individual also assists in the supervision of staff and conducting staff development activities. This vacancy is for grades 9 through 12 high school which will serve approximately 1,500 students.
Compensation:
This is a 214 duty day position. Salary is $126,801.00 with a competitive fringe benefit package.
Fringe benefit package includes, but is not limited to, a District Health Insurance contribution of $1,835 per month, Dental Insurance, Deferred Compensation/403(b) matching plan, Health Care Savings Plan contribution, group term life insurance, etc.

Requirements
Applicants must be licensed in Minnesota as a Secondary or K-12 Principal. Applicants must provide evidence of an excellent record of past professional performance applicable to performing the duties of the position and excellent oral and written communication skills. Successful candidates must also demonstrate excellent human relations skills in a variety of professional settings, including conflict resolution with youth and adults, small and large group facilitation skills, and demonstrated leadership capability.
