Farmington Area Public Schools, ISD 192, is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Superintendent.
Farmington Area Public Schools, ISD 192, is deeply rooted in the community it serves. We strive to ensure each student reaches their highest aspirations while embracing their responsibility to community. With dedicated, talented staff and ongoing community support, we provide a variety of innovative and challenging programs and pathways that support each child’s unique needs. Our students are paving the way as community leaders and creative problem solvers; but most importantly, as successful learners.
The district seeks a Superintendent who:
Is a strong educational leader who shares our dream of an entirely new educational world while maintaining an awareness of current academic trends;
Understands that compassion for others and radical trust are important elements in building a culture of continuous growth; honors staff and student agency;
Involves staff, parents and citizens in the decision-making process;
Has maintained a reputation as an administrator of extreme competence with high personal and professional integrity;
Develops and/or implements long-range visions, financial and facility plans for the district;
Has three to five years of successful experience as a K-12 administrator with district level administrative experience preferred;
Has experience in working collaboratively with local government bodies and community organizations;
Has experience in and knowledge of sound fiscal management procedures.
