Community Education Building/Facilities Site Supervisor (Includes Todd Field)

Position Function
Under general supervision of the Community Education Enrichment and Recreation Coordinator, to supervise activities at Todd Field to ensure a safe and secure environment and the safety of students, staff, and visitors.

Essential FunctionsEnforces Board of Education policies with regard to smoking, vandalism, alcohol, drugs, and other school rules and regulations.
Reports concerns and incidents which may require additional action to the Recreation and Enrichment Coordinator and/or others as required.
Assists visitors to the field in receiving proper direction.
Provide positive public relations to all coaches, students, permit holders and the public in the field area. Use tact and good judgment when problem-solving.
Review facility use list to assess all activity operating on the field during work shift to ensure smooth operations of space.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Additional Duties
Perform related duties as required by supervisors or other administrators.

Equipment
Use lighting and scoreboard equipment.

Safety Requirements
Follow all applicable safety rules, procedures and regulations governing field security and safety.

Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of best practices in field safety.
Ability to follow oral or written work orders from coordinator and others.
Ability to describe orally or in writing problems as needed.
Ability to problem solve and resolve issues.
Ability to report work orally or in writing to coordinator as required.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, and others contacted in the course of work.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to transport self to district building required.

Physical and Mental Demands, Work HazardsAbility to lift and/or adjust supplies and equipment as needed for instructors.

Qualifications Profile
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.

Salary/Benefits

Compensation
$15.00 per hour
