Physical Education Teacher, 1.0 Hinckley-Finlayson High School

POSITION: Physical Education/Health Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION: Hinckley-Finlayson High School is seeking a 1.0 Physical Education and Health Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

Hinckley-Finlayson is a rural school district in east-central MN that celebrates learning! QUALIFICATIONS:

Current MN Licensure in Physical Education and Health
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

Developing physical education curriculum based on our sequence and appropriate state standards.
Planning a physical education program to promote development of students’ physical fitness and social skills.
Selection and management of equipment, materials, and supplies used in physical education.
Uses positive, effective interpersonal communication skills.
Maintains confidentiality concerning education, health and personal information about students.
Follows school policies and procedures for protecting health, safety and well-being of all
students
Assessing students’ academic and social growth, maintaining appropriate records, and creating progress reports.
Communicating with parents through conferences, regular weekly communications, and other means to discuss students’ progress
Collaborating with other staff members in identifying student needs
Participating in weekly PLCs and other professional development days as required.
Participating in faculty committees and supporting student activities as needed.

Salary is based on the Master Agreement located on our website.
