Montessori Reading Teacher

River Falls Public Montessori Elementary is seeking a 0.5 FTE Reading Teacher. River Falls Public Montessori Elementary is a collaborative community that supports the development of intrinsically motivated, inquisitive, critical thinking citizens who realize their full potential to serve and positively impact the world. By following the Montessori Method, we promote individualized learning through the exploration and inquiry in multi-aged communities to develop the whole child.

The ideal candidate will: * Understand and believe in the Montessori method; * Have experience using various benchmark and progress monitoring assessments: * Be skilled in gathering, desegregating, and analyzing data: * Knowledgeable of and able to effectively use research based interventions; * Have a solid understanding of the art and science of teaching reading. * A 316 Reading license is preferred but not required. * Be an effective communicator.
