River Falls School District is seeking a student centered, innovative, collaborative instructor to join a dedicated team of educators and to serve as a full time Technology Education and/or STEM leader for River Falls High School beginning the 2022-23 school year.
Included in the responsibilities of this position will be to collaboratively train, inspire, and empower students and staff to utilize the design principles to create and develop functional prototypes to solve authentic problems and to demonstrate cross curricular concepts. Responsibilities will include teaching computer numerical control (CNC), developing and maintaining partnerships in community, and expanding STEM learning opportunities. Preference to candidates with welding and automotive experience or those who contribute outside the classroom through coaching or advising. Candidates must have or be eligible for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license in technical education. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high school students.
