Social Studies Teacher, grade 6

Meyer Middle School is seeking a 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher who is committed to the academic growth and character development of every student, every day. Candidates must be able to create a positive and safe learning environment by first having the skills to build meaningful connections with students. Applicants must also be able to model and promote the positive character traits we expect to see in our students, including a strong work ethic, positive attitude, perseverance, growth mindset, collaborative and compassionate toward the needs of others. Further, we are seeking candidates with strong communication and organizational skills.

Candidates must have or be eligible for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to teach broadfield social studies or middle level education.
