MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: The Technology Integration Specialist is responsible for promoting the use of technologies to support student achievement in E-12 classrooms while providing leadership, staff development, and instructional support to all instructional and administrative staff. The Technology Integration Specialist collaborates with appropriate instructional and technical staff to support, manage, and optimize the use of instructional software, and network resources to support quality teaching and learning. The professional works independently and collaboratively with colleagues at SWWC and with staff in member school districts.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in an area of study associated with Educational Technology and moderate experience in a job-related field OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field that enables performance of all aspects of this position; Google for Education Certified Trainer or ability to obtain certification in first year of employment; and K-12 teaching license from the MN Department of Education preferred. Valid driver’s license required. A criminal background check will be conducted on the successful applicant.
Salary/Benefits
SALARY: Position is 0.90 FTE to begin July 1, 2022. Beginning salary dependent upon education, qualifications, and experience. Excellent fringe benefits.
