This position provides direct instructional services to elementary and middle school students who are not meeting grade level proficiency in English by using prescribed interventions. Evaluates, instruct and improve English proficiency. Support and work closely with teachers in providing educational and resources support for students.
Provides direct instructional services to elementary and middle school students who are not meeting grade level proficiency in English by using prescribed interventions
Provides 1:1 and small groups classroom assistance
Monitors supplementary work and independent study
Monitors progress and completes reporting as required
Partners closely with the teacher to make sure that students are improving English proficiency
Must have EL license or able to obtain
Additional Spanish license preferred
Have Elementary and MS Content experience
Good oral and written communications skills
Ability to work with diverse populations of students
Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and supervisors
Responsible work and attendance ethic
Bilingual English and Spanish required
