Essential Functions:
Plans and implements professional development for the district and sites.
Implements data-driven practices to impact student learning.
Oversees and implements the K-12 curriculum review process.
Oversees curriculum and instruction and all Tier I programs in MTSS.
Coordinates and oversees the work of the instructional coaches.
Oversees the Q-Comp plan and evaluation process.
Serves as the district’s literacy lead.
Coordinates the district-wide assessment program.
Oversees technology integration in the district.
Works directly with the principals to implement policies and procedures.
Keeps up to date with the latest educational research and best practices.
Recommends board policy on all Teaching and Learning areas.
Serves as Superintendent in the absence of the Superintendent.
Qualifications:
At least 3-5 years of service as an education administrator.
Evidence of data-driven decision making.
Evidence of successful implementation of district initiatives.
Evidence of creating school/community partnerships.
Superintendent license required.
Salary: $125,000-$150,000 commensurate with experience
