Special Education Teacher/Case Management – Solway Elementary
This is a full-time position serving students at Solway Elementary School and case management of Oshki and homebound/homebased students. Applicants must be licensed by the Minnesota PELSB in special education. Applicants eligible to obtain special permissions are encouraged to apply.

We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, particularly in areas such as deaf education, childcare, special education, and childhood development. Experience with lesson planning, mentoring, and proofreading is highly valued.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
Provide support and accommodations to ensure students’ academic success
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to create a supportive learning environment
Utilize various teaching methods to engage students with diverse learning needs
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all students

Requirements

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
State certification in Special Education or able to obtain special permissions.
Experience working with students with disabilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
