About Blooming Prairie Public Schools

The Blooming Prairie Intermediate/High school is composed of grades 5-12 and serves approximately 515 students. We provide a diverse curriculum that not only meets the state requirements but also allows all our students to explore their interests. In addition, we offer numerous college level classes and many of our students are able to graduate with college credit. We pride ourselves in being a school strong in technology. We have coding classes, STEM education, and Apple TVs. We are also a 1:1 device school, with each student having an I-Pad issued by the district. Outside of the school day, we provide numerous opportunities to be on sports teams and/or participate in music, the arts, robotics, and the trap team. Our staff is highly educated, and they continue to work to meet the needs of all learners. We provide ADSIS and special education programs as well as promote our PBIS, Prairie Pride, program. Our community provides tremendous support to our school system and many local businesses, and our Education Foundation, support our “extra” programs.
