Position Overview: Blooming Prairie High School is seeking a qualified and dedicated Long Term Substitute English 9th – 12th grade teacher to provide high-quality instruction in a safe and positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter through effective teaching practices, with expectations of high student achievement.
- Build relationships with students. Build community in the classroom and in the school as a whole.
- Promote a safe, equitable, productive, respectful learning environment.
- Establishing a safe and productive learning environment, including equitable enforcement of rules and procedures.
- Communicating with students, parents, administrators, colleagues, and support staff regarding student progress or needs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minnesota Teaching License (PELSB) – Communication Arts and Literature 5 – 12
- Commitment to providing equitable and inclusive education
