Primary Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging curriculum lessons in health and physical education aligned with school standards.

  • Promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal health awareness among students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular sports, fitness activities, and health awareness programs.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students, regardless of skill level.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school staff to support students’ overall well-being.
  • Stay updated on current health trends, physical education methods, and safety protocols.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe environment during activities.
  • Integrate health education topics such as nutrition, mental health, substance abuse prevention, and sexual health into lessons.

Requirements

License / Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field.

  • Valid teaching certification/license for health and physical education
  • Prior experience in teaching or coaching is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Knowledge of current health and fitness trends and safety procedures
