Caledonia Area Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This position supports students with a range of special needs through direct instruction, collaboration, and individualized programming.
Responsibilities:
● Provide specially designed instruction as outlined in student IEPs
● Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
● Develop and maintain compliant and effective IEPs
● Collect data and monitor student progress toward goals
● Implement behavior support strategies as needed
Qualifications:
● Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (ABS, LD, EBD, or similar area)
● Strong communication and organizational skills
● Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
● Experience with due process systems preferred (SpEd Forms)
● Salary range $49,789 – $84,393
