Independent School District 112 is located in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities metropolitan area of Minneapolis.  The District is composed of eight elementary schools, three middle schools, and three high schools.

Position Start Dates:  July 1, 2026
Salary:  $189,097 + Education credit up to $3,000, additional compensation with longevity up to $9,000
Responsible To:  Assistant Superintendent

Position Purpose:  The middle school principal will provide instructional leadership, general administration and management of the school. In addition, the principal will coordinate the hiring of staff and provide supervision and staff development for staff.
Major Job Functions; Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Ability and Skills:  See attachment.
Qualifications:  Valid State of Minnesota Principal License

Experience Requirements:Exemplary teaching and/or administrative experience
Demonstrated leadership
Strong interpersonal skills
Commitment to continuous improvement
Outstanding organizational skills
Commitment to personalized learning for all middle school students
Prior school leadership experience
