Eastern Carver County Schools is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join the Finance Department Team.

Start Date: July 1, 2025 This is a 12-month (260 paid days July-June) position.
Salary: $80,374 – July 1 -June 30- 261 day contract (prorated based on start date)
Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)
Responsible To: Finance Director
Position Purpose: Responsible for maintenance and execution of district bimonthly payroll processing including pays, deductions, benefits, one time adjustments, state taxes, and federal taxes. Provide day-to-day work direction to payroll support, technician. See full job description for additional details.
Required Qualifications: Associate degree in accounting, or equivalent and advanced training in payroll accounting or previous payroll experience required.

Bachelor’s degree
Payroll experience
Skyward system experience
Education work exeperience
Benefits of Employment as of July 1, 2025: Eligible for benefits under the District 112 Professional and Technical District Personnel Contract. This position is not eligible for overtime or comp time.
