ECSE Resource Paraprofessional (Long Term Substitute)

Position Dates: October 7, 2026 – December 7, 2026 (Dates are approximate)
Position Days/Hours: Student contact days; 9:00am – 4:00pm
Salary: $24.32/hr. (Tier 5)
Responsible To: Special Education Supervisor and Building Principal
Position Purpose: To work under the direction of certified special education teacher in supporting students on Individual Education Plans (IEPs). This position must also demonstrate understanding of individual and unique characteristics of students with disabilities and assist them with their special education needs.
Education/Certification Requirements: Associate’s degree, at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or a passing score on a required ParaEducator assessment within 60 days of hire.
