Position Start Date: August 2022
Position Days/Hours:  Student contact days; 7:25am – 2:40pm; 6.75 paid hrs/day
Banded/Graded:  B-2-2 (Tier 6)
Salary:  $22.53/hr (under negotiations)
Responsible To:  Building Principal/Specialized Education Supervisor

Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: See attached.The signing paraprofessional’s primary role as a member of the educational team is to facilitate communication between D/HH students and classroom teachers, peers and other school staff including providing access to communication occurring in all educational environments, and language modeling for students. The language facilitator will work closely with the classroom teacher, DHH teacher, and speech/language pathologist.

Benefits of Employment as of July 1, 2021:  Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Student Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112.  This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
