Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants for the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and School Board.  This position provides high-level administrative support to the Superintendent of Eden Prairie Schools and facilitates effective communication with staff, the School Board, and the community. The Executive Assistant ensures the Superintendent’s office functions smoothly and that School Board meetings and documentation are managed with accuracy and compliance. While the role provides structured support to the School Board through communication, document management, and meeting logistics, the position reports directly to the Superintendent.

Requirements

Position requirements:

Education/Certification: Associate's degree or higher required, Bachelor's degree preferred, with emphasis in communication, business administration, or related field

Experience: Minimum of three years experience providing administrative support at an executive level, with experience in public education, government, or nonprofit organizations preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to draft and edit professional correspondence and reports
  • Proficiency with modern office technologies (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, online meeting platforms, and records management systems)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
  • Demonstrated capacity for sound judgment, problem-solving, and proactive decision-making
  • Knowledge of Minnesota statutes related to open meetings and public posting requirements (preferred)
