Position: 1.0 FTE High School Principal

School: Esko High School

Start Date: July 2026 (or as mutually agreed upon)

Esko Public Schools is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as the next Principal of Esko High School. The successful candidate will continue the school’s tradition of academic excellence, strong student relationships, and high levels of engagement in academics, arts, activities, and athletics.

Esko High School serves students in grades 7–12 and is recognized for its strong school culture, supportive community, and commitment to preparing students for success in college, careers, and life.

Salary Range: $125,000 – $135,000 contingent upon qualifications and experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

·         Provide visionary instructional leadership focused on student achievement and continuous school improvement.

·         Foster a positive, student-centered school culture that promotes academic excellence, belonging, and high expectations.

·         Support and evaluate teaching staff through meaningful supervision, coaching, and professional development.

·         Lead collaborative efforts related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and school improvement initiatives.

·         Maintain strong communication and partnerships with students, families, staff, and community stakeholders.

·         Oversee student discipline, attendance, activities, and school operations in a fair and consistent manner.

·         Utilize data to support decision-making and improve student outcomes.

·         Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

·         Support district initiatives and collaborate effectively with district leadership and building staff.

·         Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Minnesota K–12 Principal licensure or eligibility.

·         Successful teaching and educational leadership experience.

·         Demonstrated ability to build relationships and lead collaboratively.

·         Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·         Commitment to student-centered leadership and continuous improvement.
