LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The Northwest Suburban Integration School District School Board seeks an executive director who:
- Is a creative thinker who is visible to students, staff, and school board, develops trust, and works collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Has familiarity with state and federal education laws and experience in school finance.
- Has knowledge of and experience with equity leadership challenges and opportunities. Familiarity with magnet programming.
- Understands the effects of poverty on student learning and achievement.
- Is a “people person” with proven abilities in human relations and communications.
- Delegates authority while maintaining accountability yet effectively mediates and accommodates different perspectives; values teamwork.
- Has experience in school district management practices.
- Has knowledge of technology and web-based education curricula.
- Provides written, understandable administrative procedures that implement School Board policy.
- Works cooperatively with the School Board; provides options and recommendations.
Previous Executive Director or Superintendent experience preferred, but not required.
SALARY/CONTRACT: A competitive compensation and benefits package will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications.
