Coordinate implementation and on-going support for all student information and learning management systems in the school district.  Coordinate integration and on-going support of online learning resources, including teacher digital access to literacy tools (Wit & Wisdom and Arts & Letters), math tools (Math Expressions), the district collection of educational apps, and additional resources as needed.
Support teachers with incorporating technology tools that enhance instructional practices, learning experiences, and student engagement.
Provide guidance that leverages the potential of AI and AI tools to enhance learning experiences while ensuring alignment with the district’s strategic framework, policies, legal use and requirements, data privacy, and promote thoughtful, continuous evaluation and modification of supports and practices.
Coordinate professional development opportunities with the teaching and learning department. Coordinate compliance with and update of district technology plan and strategic framework as it relates to technology. Recommend enhancements and changes based on research and knowledge.  Coordinate and provide technical support across departments and school sites.
Work with district administrators to enhance the use of current and future technology.
Coordinate with outside agencies as necessary.
Collaborate with technology staff to develop policies, procedures, standards, and ongoing professional development and resources regarding technology use as well as technology security for the district.
Develop and implement systems to monitor technology/hardware use, inventory and life cycle.
Collaborate with the Communications team to develop and curate district “intranet” resources.
Work with Directors of Learning, technology team, and building administration regarding compliance with, understanding of, and adherence to software terms of use and legal requirements. Stay up to date on current developments and innovations in technology and learning through reading and/or attending related conferences, seminars, and meetings.

Requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ability to maintain confidentiality, understand and follow data privacy rules and regulations related to students and staff. A Bachelor's degree in education or an emphasis in information or technology management or equivalent and advanced degree preferred.
Successful teaching experience and leadership in learning technology preferred.
Demonstrated skill and understanding of technology integration in school districts and the ability to establish, maintain, and improve technology enhancements to the learning experience. Working knowledge of and experience with a variety of hardware and software applications, networks, and operating systems.

$87,495-$100,528 depending on education and experience
