The MTSS Coordinator provides system-wide leadership and strategic vision for the district’s continuous school improvement framework. In alignment with our district strategic framework, this role is responsible for the day-to-day complexities, structural redesign, and operational roadmap of multi-tiered practices across all sites. The Coordinator ensures that academic, social-emotional, and behavioral interventions are standardized and data-driven to support future success for all Farmington Area Public Schools students. The MTSS Coordinator oversees the district’s implementation through continuous system assessments, real-time disaggregated data monitoring, and the coordination of systems and supports.
Requirements
Licensure: Valid Minnesota Teaching Licensure required.
Experience: Minimum of five years of successful teaching with educational leadership experiences preferred, including demonstrated experience navigating complex, large-scale system changes or continuous school improvement frameworks.
Education: Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field preferred.
Skills: Deep understanding of multi-tiered frameworks spanning academic, social-emotional, and behavioral domains. Exceptional data literacy skills, specifically the ability to analyze and disaggregate student metrics to drive equity-centered adjustments. Strong relational and collaborative leadership capacity to manage diverse teams and foster consensus without direct administrative authority. Proven track record of reducing systemic barriers for marginalized student populations.
