Forest Lake Area Schools is seeking a Transportation Careers teacher for the upcoming school year. The program serves students in grades 9-12, High School. The candidate should display a general background in the automotive and small engine trades. Some classes currently scheduled to be taught for the upcoming school year are: power mechanics, consumer automotive, and automotive technician. The high school has an automotive lab with three lift bays. The Transportation Careers courses provide hands-on experiential learning opportunities as students often work on their own vehicles and small engines. Candidates are required to hold or be eligible to hold a current Transportation Careers license (function code 300700 or equivalent) in Minnesota.
Requirements
Transportation Careers License or ability to gain the license or equivalent.
