Hinckley-Finlayson is a rural school district in east-central MN that celebrates learning! We offer students and families a wide range of tools to make their education successful. Hinckley-Finlayson staff members are experts at helping students with unique challenges develop to their fullest potential.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops lesson plans and instructional materials to teach 7th and 8th grade Theater Class.
Translates lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Communicates regularly with parents via Schoology, newsletters, phone calls, e-mails, conferences, etc.
Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with colleagues and supervisors.
Participating in building and department meetings and workshops in an effort to stay current with best teaching practices.
Participates in a professional learning community on a regular basis.
Integration of technology into instruction.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated ability to apply appropriate skills in performing daily routines.
Demonstrated ability to operate necessary classroom technology.
Ability to develop effective and positive working relationships with students, staff, administrators, parents and the community.
Maintain professional composure while dealing with a variety of personalities and situations.
Show initiative and function as a self-starter.
Effectively communicate and have interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor and the community
Salary:Per Master Agreement.
