Job Description
Hinckley-Finlayson High School is seeking a band teacher for students in grades 5 – 12 for the school year 2026-27.

Qualifications
MN Teaching license K-12 Instrumental and Classroom Music
Responsibilities
– Maintaining accurate records of students’ grades and attendance.
– Participating in grade level and department meetings
– Participating fully in all staff development and staff collaboration such as in-service, staff meetings, department work, committee work, parent teacher conference nights, etc.
– Jr High and Concert Band
– Pep Band (Additional Compensation)
– Group and individual lessons for students in grades 5 through 12.
– Large and Small Group Music Contests
– Summer Band Program-Includes Marching Band and individual summer lessons for students in grade 5-8 (Additional Compensation).
– This position is split between the two elementary schools and the high school.
