Intermediate District 287 is looking for qualified Educational Support Professionals / Paras / Paraprofessionals like you for open positions throughout the district.
Intermediate District 287 is a west metro district for learners with unique needs. As an intermediate district, we provide specialized services, primarily setting IV special education, to students from 11 member districts in the west metro. - Work with students to ensure they receive an excellent education
- Support teachers in the classroom
- Support students with daily education needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or a general education development (GED) certificate
- Two (2) years of full-time employment or equivalent working with individuals in an environment that provides broad familiarity and understanding of the physical and emotional behaviors and challenges of children with exceptional needs
- Substitution Allowed: College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equaling one-half (½) year of experience to a maximum of two (2) years.

Salary/Benefits
- Competitive Pay: $18.15 - $26.52 Depending on experience and education
