Full-Time High School Science Teacher

Position Overview
Falls High is seeking a passionate and student-centered full-time high school science teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who is committed to engaging instruction, thoughtful course design, and building strong relationships with students.
An Agricultural Science license is preferred, but candidates holding any Minnesota high school science licensure are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Licensure
● Agricultural Science (preferred)
● Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics, or other MN high school science licensure will be considered
Responsibilities
● Teach high school science courses aligned with Minnesota state standards
● Design engaging, relevant, and rigorous lessons that support student learning and curiosity
● Contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of both new and existing course offerings
● Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
● Support student engagement, retention, and success as part of a collaborative school community
● Participate in school initiatives, professional learning, and curriculum development
Qualifications
● Valid Minnesota teaching license in science (or ability to obtain by start date)
● Strong classroom management and instructional skills
●
● Willingness to collaborate and contribute to a team-oriented environment
● Commitment to high expectations for students and professional practice
● Interest in innovative, hands-on, or career-connected learning experiences is a plus

Pay Scale: Dependent on qualifications - $47,032 - $85,627
Benefits: Health, Dental, Life Insurance, TRA Retirement, Personal Leave and Sick Leave per L331 Union contract.
