The Spring Lake Park School District is a suburban Minneapolis system of 6,200 students serving the communities of Blaine, Fridley, and Spring Lake Park. The District is seeking an innovative, learner-centered leader for the

POSITION OVERVIEW
The successful Spring Lake Park High School Associate Principal will be an individual who…

- that each student will leave our high school prepared for their future, developing the academic and life skills needed to prepare them for whatever their future holds;

- in capitalizing on the creativity of teachers and staff to innovate and develop new ways of working with students to foster agency, self-direction and success; and

… has demonstrated:experience with educational practices of engagement consistent with the Spring Lake Park Schools core components of innovative and personalized learning;
- experience in facilitating high-quality professional learning and continuous improvement;
the ability to build high expectations of and meaningful relationships with students, consistent with our promise of knowing each young person by name, strength, interest, and need; - the ability to build meaningful relationships with and support of staff through visibility and effective, consistent communication;

QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in an administrator or assistant principal role desired
Previous school-level leadership required, preferably at the secondary-school level
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
Minnesota K-12 Principal licensure required.
SALARY:
Group-Principals
Position-Associate Principal
Rate of Pay-$141,800-$151,800
Benefits-Medical, Dental, Sick Leave, 403(b), Life, LTD, FSA
