JCC is looking for a Special Education teacher at the upper elementary (grades 4-5) or middle school (grades 6-8) level.
Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs); adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs; collaborating with general education teachers, families, and support staff; tracking student progress and maintaining compliance with special education laws and documentation requirements. The teacher supports students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional well being.
