Position Title:  Curriculum Coordinator

Start Date: 8/10/26 or when filled

Fte: 1.0

Location: District Wide

 

The position is fulltime and part of the teacher bargaining unit.   This position includes additional summer planning hours.

Salary and benefits are part of the master agreement
Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan and support implementation of  K-12 ELA/reading instruction
  • Lead curriculum review processes and monitor implementation
  • Collaboratively provide leadership for Title I, ADSIS, 504 plans and American Indian Education programs
  • Pursue professional development activities to broaden and deepen understanding of instructional strategies and teaching technologies
  • Update all necessary records accurately as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
  • Attend department and committee meetings
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Licensure

  • Current MN teaching license in elementary or secondary education
  • K-12 Reading License preferred
  • Seven or more years of teaching experience
  • Successful completion of MN Read Act MDE approved training preferred
  • High level knowledge of K-12 reading instruction
  • Knowledge and experience with implementing Minnesota K-12 Academic Standards
  • Ability to utilize instructional data to inform adjustments or changes in curriculum
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and community
  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff

Salary and Benefits:

Salary:Salary and benefits part of the Teacher Master Contract.

Salary placement is based on experience and education level, as per district guidelines.
