Business Education Teacher – Full-time (1.00 FTE)
Secondary Schools

 

A full-time (1.00 FTE) position as a Business Education Teacher is available at East High and West High Schools for the 2026-27 school year.

Summary of Duties:
This position is responsible for delivering engaging instruction in business-related subjects such as marketing, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, and computer skills. Other responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with industry partners for hands-on learning opportunities
  • Staying current with business trends
  • Supporting students in developing critical thinking, financial literacy, and workplace readiness skills
  • Supporting the DECA program

Qualifications Required:
Valid MN licensure in Business Education.

Qualifications Preferred:
Valid MN licensure in Work Based Learning

Salary Range: 
$50,027 – $91,234 (based on the MTA salary schedule).
