Experienced Principal wanted to lead our secondary school, grades 7-12, to continue developing its instructional practices, curriculum, assessments, and professional development. The position reports to the Executive Director. The primary duties are managing the daily operations of a high school, supervising staff, ensuring student success, and leading the school’s improvement effort. The Principal is expected to be visible and engaged at a variety of afternoon and evening events, build strong relationships with families, staff, and students. The Principal is expected to play a strong role in recruitment and retention of staff and students. The Principal is expected to champion our Huskies United efforts which include meaningful collaboration between NLA’s two buildings, both instructionally and collegially.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MN Principal License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years as a secondary Principal
- 5 or more years as a teacher in one or more secondary grades
- Charter school experience
- Special education experience (teacher, para, or parent)
District Application Guidelines
POSITION STATUS: Full-time
START DATE: 2025-2026 School Year
COMPENSATION: Salary: $99,000-120,000 Per Year
