JOB ID: 4194 – 1.0 FTE Special Education EBD Teacher – Full-time position at Spring Creek beginning 08/22/2024.
Scheduled Hours/Days: 8 Hours/day Monday-Friday.
Duties: Develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the academic, functional, and social/emotional/behavioral needs of students with social/emotional/behavioral and academic needs in an elementary school Federal Setting 3 classroom and within the general education setting; evaluates and assesses student academic, functional, and behavioral progress; functions as IEP Manager to assigned students and completes all due process requirements. Directs the work of Educational Assistants, and collaborates with other service providers and educators. Communicates with parents/guardians.
Deadline: 4/7/2024 — EOE (2/8/2024) Employment is contingent upon the completion of a background check.
Qualifications Required: Minnesota Department of Teaching license in Emotional Behavior Disorder. Academic Behavior Specialist licensure considered; multiple licenses preferred.
