JOB ID: 4716 – 1.0 FTE School Psychologist – Full-Time position beginning 8/27/2026.

Location: To Be Determined

Scheduled Hours/Days: Monday-Friday 8 hours/day

Qualifications: Candidates must hold an advanced degree in School Psychology and be licensed as a School Psychologist by the Minnesota Board of Teaching. Successful applicants will demonstrate a working knowledge of psychometric assessment instruments, the principles and ethical standards of school psychology, and special education laws, rules, and regulations at both the state and district levels. Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with students, families, and educational professionals, and be skilled in consulting with school staff to develop and implement academic and behavioral interventions. Basic computer literacy, including word processing and data entry, is required, as is the ability to travel between school sites within the district.

Pay Rate/Range: 2026-2027 NEA Agreement MA1:$67,891 – MA40-10: $95,320. Base pay DOQ.

Additional stipends for Ed.D. or Ph.D

$500 annual stipend for NASP-NCSP National Certification

Responsibilities: The School Psychologist, under the direction of the Director of Special Services, is responsible for conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for potential special education services, including administering, scoring, and interpreting intellectual, academic, and social-emotional assessments, and communicating findings clearly through written reports and team meetings. The position involves significant consultation with teachers, administrators, and families to plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group interventions addressing students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. The School Psychologist also serves as an active member of the building-level Student Support Team, supporting the IEP process, informing families of their rights, maintaining accurate student records, and collaborating with community providers as needed.
