JOB ID: 4595 – Occupational Therapist – Full-Time position beginning ASAP.

Location: District

Scheduled Hours/Days: Monday-Friday 8 hours/day

 

Pay Rate/Range: NEA Agreement MA-$65,255 – MA40-$91,619. Base pay DOQ – Subject to change upon the settlement of the 25-27 Master Agreement.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director of Student Services, the Registered Occupational Therapist provides services to students with disabilities, ages birth to 21, in order for them to benefit from their program of special education instruction.

Responsibilities:  They plan, implement, and monitor activities that allow students to access and benefit from their specialized instruction.
The focus of these services includes, but is not limited to: academic performance, fine and gross motor functioning, positioning, daily living skills, play/leisure skills, work skills, and sensory-motor activities.
They assess and make environmental and other adaptations to allow students to access and benefit from their program of specialized instruction.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
Minnesota Occupational Therapy license required.
