Position Summary:
The Director of Nutrition Services plans, organizes and directs the operation of the district food service programs, including; menu planning, planning of new services; facilities planning; personnel management; resource allocation and financial management; and organization and implementation of nutrition education.
Requirements
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with concentration in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business or a related field.
ServSafe Certification
Prior experience with management of school meal programs or related field
Skilled professional with 3+ years of supervisory experience
Experience with personal computers and software including spreadsheets, word processing and nutrient analysis.
Experience in coordinating programs and education to ensure appropriate safety and sanitation standards are achieved.
Position requires supervisory experience, training or experience in business management, preferably food service management.
