The Richfield Public School District is now accepting applications for an Assistant Superintendent. Roles and responsibilities include providing leadership and collaboration across all areas of the organization, including working cohesively and interdependently with a highly skilled cabinet-level leadership team. Anticipated duties of the Assistant Superintendent include, but are not limited to, supervising principals, holding the role of ombudsperson, partnering with the Superintendent on crisis management, supervising other directors and overseeing additional areas within the organization. The Assistant Superintendent is one of five cabinet members who partner to support Richfield Public Schools and the Superintendent in leading and representing the District at state and federal meetings with partner organizations. The Assistant Superintendent will stand in for the Superintendent as needed. Upon hire, the Assistant Superintendent will coordinate with the cabinet team to review responsibilities and align and restructure responsibilities across the cabinet leadership team to best serve Richfield Public Schools. This assistant superintendent role is specifically designed for individuals who plan to become a future superintendent, ideally even the future superintendent of RPS. The ideal candidate will possess successful leadership experience at both the building and the district level.

Requirements
- Current Minnesota Superintendent Licensure.
