Job Description

The Richfield Public School District is currently accepting applications for a Director of Athletics & Activities  This position will develop, direct and provide ongoing leadership and evaluation for a comprehensive, balanced athletic and activities program that is compliant with all District interscholastic policies, rules and by-laws of the Minnesota State High School League, and all other applicable regulations covering the program.

We are located in the heart of the Twin Cities Metropolitan area and serve a diverse student population in Richfield and the surrounding communities.  Richfield Public Schools inspires and empowers each individual to learn, grow & excel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in secondary education plus five years' experience to include a combination of teaching, coaching at the high school level and/or serving in a athletic director role comparable to this District position.
    • K-12 principal license preferred.
  • Knowledge of current issues and challenges impacting secondary school athletics in public education so that the District can develop approaches to deal with these issues as they may affect Richfield Schools.

Salary: $127,501 - $141,668 (Based on education and experience)
