Position Title: Lead School Social Worker
Department / Unit: Richfield Districtwide
Accountable To: Director of Student Support Services
The Richfield Public School District is now accepting applications for a full time Lead School Social Worker for the 2024-2025 school year.
Richfield Public School is now accepting applications for a full time Lead Social Worker. This position will manage SEL/tiered interventions through ensuring compliance and delivery of social emotional learning standards to students. This position will also provide supervision to school social workers seeking clinical licensure, onboarding of new school social workers, and coaching of social workers throughout the district.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work required
- LICSW required
- Verified LICSW Clinical Supervisor required
- Current school social worker license required
- Experience working in school settings and/or with school aged children
- Experience working across racial, ethnic, economic, and linguistic differences
- Experience working with students individually and in groups
- Experience working with parents/caregivers to support social emotional wellness and academic achievement
- Experience providing social emotional and academic supports to students
- Experience working with students who have experienced trauma and toxic stress
- Experience operating from a strengths based perspective
