he School District of New Richmond has openings for summer school teachers for June 2025. “Summer Stretch” offers academic, enrichment, and activity classes for students. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage with students in fun and creative ways.
Summer school teachers must hold a current (or pending for new graduates) WI teaching license for the grade and/or content area they teach. Openings are available for:
Grades PK (students entering K in fall 2025).
Grade K-1 Multi-age classes (student entering grades 1 & 2 in fall 2025).
Grade 2-4 Multi-age classes (student entering grades 3-5 in fall 2025).
Grade 5-7 Multi-age classes (student entering grades 6-8 in fall 2025).
PreK teachers will be with the same students for the day. Grades K-8 teachers will instruct three different classes per day. Classes are developed by you, the teacher. Please be creative as you consider course ideas and lesson plans!
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
1) He/she must maintain proper certification and license as required by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
2) He/she must possess, as a minimum, a bachelor's degree.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing and occasionally requires pushing, pulling, lifting, and operating machines; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, and observing general surroundings and activities; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. school offices/classrooms/passageways).
Salary/Benefits
$46,443/year+
