River Falls Public Montessori Elementary (RFPME) is looking for a full-time Children’s House teacher to guide 4K-Kindergarten students. An individual that is interested in working in a collaborative environment, with a fun loving, and welcoming staff, committed to the Montessori method would be a wonderful fit.

Our school’s mission is to be a collaborative community that supports the development of intrinsically motivated, inquisitive, critical thinking citizens who realize their full potential to serve and positively impact the world. By following the Montessori Method, we promote individualized learning through exploration and inquiry in multi-aged communities to develop the whole child.

River Falls is a community with strong Montessori roots, with both public and private options for Montessori education. It is also home to one of the only Montessori doctoral programs in the world at UW River Falls. RFPME is the lab school for UWRF and our faculty collaborates with all Montessorians in the area.

Applicants must have or be eligible to receive Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction early childhood/regular education teacher licensure. Montessori certification and/or training preferred.

The top candidate will be offered a competitive salary and a strong benefits package which includes medical and dental insurance co-paid by the school district and employee, life insurance, and long-term disability insurance. The position begins on August 17, 2026.
