Sleepy Eye Public School is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the PreK-6 Principal. The ideal candidate will support a positive and inclusive learning environment, actively collaborate with teachers and staff, engage with families and the community, and uphold high academic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visionary instructional leadership to students and staff.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging school culture.
Oversee curriculum implementation and instructional best practices.
Support professional development for faculty and staff.
Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and the school community.
Ensure compliance with state and federal education policies.
Manage school operations, budgeting, and school resources.
Estimated Salary range is $85,000 – $100.000
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Education Administration, or a related field.
· Valid MN Principal Certification (or eligibility to obtain one).
· Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, with leadership experience preferred.
· Strong knowledge of PreK-6 curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Fostering an equitable and inclusive school environment.
