Key Responsibilities:
Direct Student Services: Take charge of student management, discipline, and academic achievement. Coordinate and implement discipline and attendance programs, enforce rules, and follow up on referrals. Make informed decisions concerning discipline and suspensions to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
Event Supervision: Participate in and supervise various school events, functions, and activities to ensure smooth operations and student engagement.
Collaborative Leadership: Assist the Principal and collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance student achievement. Implement district and building policies effectively while addressing behavioral issues and documenting disciplinary actions.
Teacher Supervision and Evaluation: Supervise and evaluate teachers and departments, conducting observations and formal evaluations. Provide mentorship and support to staff, aiding in their professional development.
Public Relations: Act as a liaison between stakeholders, including teachers, counselors, parents, and students, addressing discipline and welfare concerns effectively.
Safety and Security: Monitor and assist in building security measures, formulating procedures to safeguard the safety of students and staff.
Committee Participation: Collaborate on district or building-level committees, task forces, and administrative meetings to address educational issues and operational concerns.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Education Administration or related field.
Relevant experience in education administration, preferably in a middle school setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of educational policies, procedures, and best practices.
Ability to handle student behavioral issues with tact and professionalism.
Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student success.
