Under the direction of the Building Principal and Director of Teaching and Learning, the Instructional Coach supports improved student learning by partnering with teachers to effectively implement the Willmar Public Schools Instructional Framework and strengthen Tier 1 Core Instruction. The Coach partners with teachers to strengthen standards-based learning by collaboratively using proficiency scales as a shared foundation for planning instruction, providing feedback, and designing meaningful assessments.
Requirements
Must have a MN Elementary Education Teaching License
Must be able to pass a background check
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
3 – 5 years of successful classroom instruction with evidence of positive improvement in student learning on Minnesota Academic Standards over time.
