Job Summary:

ISD 518 is seeking dedicated Educational Paraprofessionals to support students at the middle school level for the the 2026–2027 school year.

Under the direction of licensed teachers and building administration, Educational Paraprofessionals assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs in the classroom and school setting. Responsibilities may include supporting individual students or small groups, assisting with classroom activities, providing redirection and encouragement, helping students build independence, and performing related duties as assigned.

 

Educational Paraprofessionals are placed based on student needs and building needs and may support students in a variety of classroom or school settings. They work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and administration to help create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

 

Job Qualification:

High school diploma or GED required. Must meet paraprofessional qualification requirements through college coursework, a college degree, or successful completion of the ParaEducator Assessment upon hire.
