Location:  ZED building in Kasson

Workday/Year:  Monday-Friday; 7:30-3:00pm

Duty Days:  186 (approximately)

About Zumbro Education District (ZED): ZED is an education district serving six member districts that include Triton, Kasson-Mantorville, Stewartville, Byron, Hayfield, and Blooming Prairie.  ZED offers a wide array of general education and special education services to our member districts (please refer to www.zumbroed.org for details).

Job Summary: The ALC Paraprofessional position is designed to assist in the delivery of educational services to children identified by the Education Options Program as at risk and in attendance at the ZED Area Learning Center.

Required Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent is required.  Able to record and summarize data in written form for educational staffing.  Prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred.  No prior medical condition which would impair the delivery of services.
