Barnum Public Schools ISD 91 is seeking a 1.0 FTE School Social Worker to begin with the 2025-2026 school year. This position is shared with Willow River Community School, with the social worker’s time split evenly between the two districts (50/50). The preferred schedule is 2.5 days per week at each district, with some flexibility available.

This position will collaborate with counselors and other specialist staff to develop an effective K-12 developmental guidance program. Click here for full job description. Pay is according to the Ed-MN Barnum teachers’ contract. Range is $44,700 to $57,938, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health, dental, life, LTD and ADD insurances, and paid leave.

Requirements

Minnesota Social Work License (LSW, LGSW, LISW, LICSW)
School Social Worker License (Tier3/Tier4)
Bachelors or Masters degree from a university in an accredited Social Work program
